Prague Summer Nights: Young Artists Music Festival offers emerging opera singers, instrumentalists, conductors, and arts leaders the chance to train and perform in the cultural heart of Europe.
Our four-week festival begins in the historic town of Tábor with intensive rehearsals, coaching, masterclasses, and performances—culminating in Prague with fully staged productions of Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Don Giovanni. Participants perform in some of Europe’s most iconic theaters, concert halls, and historic venues, appearing in opera productions, symphonic and chamber music concerts, opera scenes, and a vibrant cabaret evening.
Prague Summer Nights also offers rich training and hands-on opportunities for aspiring conductors, coaches, stage directors, and arts administrators.
With full days of rehearsal, ensemble work, a multitude of performances, and one-on-one mentorship for many, our program is led by distinguished faculty and guest clinicians from leading conservatories and universities, including Juilliard, NEC, Peabody, Oberlin, Northwestern, U-M, UT Austin, the University of Denver, MSM, and others.
